If%20Mama%20Ain%27t%20Happy%2C%20Nobody%27s%20Happy%20%7E%20a%20Rainting%20%7E%20Lighter%20%26%20Less%20Rain

I%20did%2C%20for%20now%20anyway%2C%20two%20versions%20of%20this.%20This%20is%20the%20lighter%20and%20less%20rainy%20of%20the%20two.%20Which%20version%20do%20you%20like%20better%3F%20That%20is%20if%20you%20like%20either%20one.%0A%0AMama%20has%20quite%20a%20lot%20of%20children%20here.%20Most%20just%20look%20crying%20and%20scared%2C%20probably%20of%20the%20dark%20rain%2C%20but%20we%20don%27t%20know%20for%20sure.%20One%20of%20Mama%27s%20children%20is%20rather%20Fiendish%20looking.%20I%20marked%20him%20with%20a%20note%2C%20not%20that%20you%20couldn%27t%20figure%20out%20which%20one%20without%20the%20clue.%20Mama%20is%20wearing%20red%20and%20yellow%20turban%20with%20fake%20stems.%20It%27s%20an%20apple%20turban%2C%20part%20yellow%20apples%20and%20part%20red%20delicious.%20I%20don%27t%20like%20it%2C%20but%20she%20didn%27t%20ask%20me.%0A*********************************************************************%0A%0AABOUT%20RAINTINGS%0A%0ARainting%20is%20a%20word%20I%20coined%20describing%20a%20painterly%20effect%2C%20achieved%20by%20photographing%20the%20subject%20through%20glass%20that%20is%20being%20rained%20on%2C%20like%20a%20windshield%20or%20other.%20It%20achieves%20an%20oftentimes%20pretty%20or%20soft%20flowing%20effect%2C%20and%20sometimes%20other-worldly.%20It%20is%20usually%20creative%2C%20fun%2C%20and%20fluid%2C%20seldom%20harsh%20in%20my%20opinion.%20I%20have%20an%20album%20of%20them%20on%20Flickr.%20Rainting%20is%20already%20in%20%26quot%3BThe%20Urban%20Dictionary%26quot%3B%20but%20I%20would%20like%20it%20to%20also%20be%20in%20a%20more%20sophisticated/educational%20type%20of%20dictionary.%20I%20started%20a%20public%20Flickr%20group%20of%20Raintings%20on%20New%20Year%27s%20Day%202020.%0A%0AThe%20more%20collegiate%20type%20of%20dictionaries%20say%20that%20the%20word%20has%20to%20actually%20be%20used%20by%20people%20before%20they%27re%20likely%20to%20publish%20it.%20So%20if%20you%20like%20the%20word%20and%20my%20idea%2C%20say%20it%20loud%20and%20say%20it%20clear%20and%20take%20a%20few%20Raintings%20and%20post%20them%20to%20my%20new%20group.%20Using%20my%20word%20and%20trying%20my%20new%20group%20are%20not%20inclusive%20of%20one%20another.%0A******************************************************************%0A%0AThis%20particular%20image%20has%20what%20I%20call%20a%20Faux%20Rainting%20effect.%20It%20wasn%27t%20actually%20raining%3B%20just%20a%20spray%20bottle%20of%20water%20on%20my%20truck%20window.%20I%27ll%20put%20it%20in%20my%20new%20Raintings%20group%2C%20but%20eventually%20I%27ll%20try%20to%20label%20the%20ones%20that%20didn%27t%20actually%20use%20*real*%20rain.%20The%20majority%20will%20be%20real%20rain%2C%20as%20that%20is%20what%20I%20used%20to%20take%20my%20beginning%20%26quot%3BRaintings%26quot%3B%20when%20hadn%27t%20yet%20thought%20of%20a%20name%20for%20what%20I%20described%20above.%20And%20that%20is%20why%20I%20rhymed%20my%20word%20of%20Rainting%20with%20Painting.%20My%20State%20of%20Oregon%20USA%20is%20known%20for%20lots%20of%20rain%3B%20so%20I%20shouldn%27t%20have%20to%20resort%20to%20Faux%20Rainting%20too%20often%20%28grin%29.%0A%0A******************************************************************%0AABOUT%20LIGHTLINGS%0A%0ALightling%20is%20an%20even%20newer%20word%20I%20coined%20to%20name%20the%20odd%20little%20sort%20of%20anthropomorphic%20characters%20that%20sometimes%20appear%20in%20my%20images%20when%20doing%20a%20Rainting.%20There%20are%20many%20little%20Lightlings%20in%20this%20image.%20Unfortunately%20they%20are%20kind%20of%20tiny%20compared%20to%20some%20larger%20ones%20later%20on%20that%20I%27ll%20be%20posting.%20This%20picture%20just%20happened%20to%20be%20the%20one%20where%20I%20decided%20to%20explain%20Lightling.%0A******************************************************************%0A%0A******************************************************************%0AABOUT%20LIGHTLINGS%0A%0ALightling%20is%20an%20even%20newer%20word%20I%20coined%20to%20name%20the%20odd%20little%20sort%20of%20anthropomorphic%20characters%20that%20sometimes%20appear%20in%20my%20images%20when%20doing%20a%20Rainting.%20They%20come%20in%20many%20sizes%2C%20shapes%20and%20colors%20and%20often%20times%20have%20what%20appear%20to%20be%20various%20facial%20expressions.%0A******************************************************************%0A%26quot%3BMy%20thin%20white%20border%20is%20not%20so%20much%20a%20frame%20as%20a%20defense%20against%20Flickr%27s%20all%20dark%20background%26quot%3B%0A****************************************************************%0A%0A%26quot%3BDSCN3218MamaAintHappyCrpAAbordInitScrRemFlickr042120%26quot%3B
