Of%20all%20the%20Monster%20High%20dolls%20in%20my%20collection%2C%20these%20four%20are%20some%20of%20my%20most%20special%20dolls.%20%20It%27s%20funny%20because%20in%20a%20way%2C%20my%20desperation%20to%20get%20these%20two%20sets%20also%20ended%20my%20%26quot%3BMonster%20High%20binge%26quot%3B%20of%202013.%20%20After%20that%2C%20I%20learned%20to%20wait%20for%20dolls%20to%20go%20on%20sale%2C%20or%20I%20only%20bought%20a%20full%20priced%20doll%20once%20in%20a%20blue%20moon.%20%20Plus%2C%20it%20helped%20curb%20my%20appetite%20when%20I%20started%20finding%20Monster%20High%20dolls%20secondhand%21%20Back%20in%20March%202013%2C%20right%20after%20I%20started%20collecting%20Monster%20High%2C%20I%20saw%20leaked%20images%20of%20both%20these%20sets%2C%20but%20Cleo%20and%20Ghoulia%20caught%20my%20eye.%20%20I%27ve%20always%20had%20a%20soft%20spot%20for%20Cleo%2C%20even%20when%20I%20wasn%27t%20buying%20Monster%20High%20dolls%2C%20because%20I%20am%20very%20passionate%20about%20Ancient%20Egypt.%20%20I%20thought%20she%20was%20simply%20the%20most%20gorgeous%20Cleo%20doll%20ever%2C%20but%20it%20would%20be%20several%20months%20before%20she%20was%20released.%20%20I%20also%20was%20keen%20for%20the%20Heath/Abbey%20pack%20since%20they%20featured%20Home%20Ec.%20type%20accessories...and%20I%20LOVE%20doll%20food%21%20%20The%20fact%20that%20the%20packs%20were%20dedicated%20to%20school%20themes%20made%20them%20irresistible.%20%20For%20my%20birthday%20that%20year%2C%20I%20pre-ordered%20both%20of%20these%20sets%20off%20Target%27s%20website.%20%20Since%20I%20was%20pretty%20new%20to%20Monster%20High%20collecting%2C%20I%20didn%27t%20realize%20just%20how%20overstocked%20most%20of%20them%20are...so%20I%20assumed%20these%20dolls%20would%20be%20%26quot%3Bimpossible%26quot%3B%20to%20find%20since%20Heath%20is%20a%20boy%20doll.%20%20%20For%20whatever%20reason%2C%20Target%20canceled%20my%20order%2C%20which%20bummed%20me%20out.%20%20My%20sister%2C%20feeling%20sorry%20for%20me%2C%20called%20every%20local%20Toys%20%27R%27%20Us%20multiple%20times%2C%20checking%20to%20see%20when%20these%20dolls%20were%20in%20stock.%20%20We%20got%20lucky%20a%20few%20weeks%20later%2C%20because%20one%20TRU%20had%20a%20single%20set%20of%20Cleo%20and%20Ghoulia%20left.%20%20We%20drove%20out%20that%20day%2C%20and%20picked%20them%20up.%20%20I%20also%20got%20my%2013%20Wishes%20Howleen%20that%20same%20day%20too%2C%20because%20she%20caught%20my%20eye.%20%20Heath%20and%20Abbey%20were%20heavily%20purchased%20in%20the%20beginning--people%20were%20calling%20all%20the%20stores%2C%20figuring%20out%20when%20new%20shipments%20were%20coming%20in%2C%20and%20buying%20whole%20cases%20of%20dolls.%20%20They%20would%20then%20list%20the%20dolls%20on%20eBay%20for%20triple%2C%20if%20not%20more%2C%20of%20the%20price%21%20%20But%20not%20long%20after%20getting%20Cleo%20and%20Ghoulia%2C%20Colleen%20managed%20to%20find%20a%20Target%20that%20had%20just%20gotten%20a%20new%20shipment%20of%20dolls.%20%20Once%20again%2C%20we%20went%20out%20and%20picked%20up%20Heath%20and%20Abbey%2C%20who%20actually%20were%20still%20in%20the%20stock%20room%20when%20we%20arrived%21%20%20%0A%0AWhat%20makes%20these%20dolls%20so%20special%20to%20me%20is%20the%20fact%20that%20my%20sister%20went%20through%20all%20that%20trouble%20calling%20different%20stores%2C%20trying%20to%20find%20me%20them.%20%20It%20really%20meant%20the%20world%20to%20me%20that%20she%20cared%20so%20much%20about%20making%20me%20happy%2C%20that%20she%20made%20a%20million%20phone%20calls%2C%20and%20was%20willing%20to%20drop%20whatever%20she%20was%20doing%20so%20we%20could%20pick%20the%20dolls%20up.%20%20I%27ve%20realized%20since%20then%2C%20that%20it%20was%20a%20little%20silly%20of%20me%20to%20get%20so%20caught%20up%20in%20the%20hype....I%20had%20seen%20these%20dolls%20sitting%20around%20store%20shelves%20a%20thousand%20times%20since.%20%20I%20was%20always%20more%20cut%20out%20to%20be%20an%20%26quot%3Bout%20of%20date%26quot%3B%20doll%20collector%20than%20the%20person%20waiting%20in%20line%20for%20the%20newest%20thing.%20%20But%20I%20have%20no%20regrets%20about%20buying%20these%20dolls%20right%20away.%20I%27ve%20had%20loads%20of%20fun%20with%20them%20over%20the%20years%2C%20and%20they%20are%20my%20most%20sentimental%20dolls%20in%20my%20collection.
