Not%20long%20ago%2C%20my%20Flickr%20friend%20Lisa%20%28%3Ca%20href%3D%27/photos/thevixen/%27%3Ered%20stilletto%3C/a%3E%29%20and%20I%20were%20at%20Brighton%20Beach%2C%20looking%20as%20we%20sometimes%20do%2C%20for%20treasures%20in%20the%20rock%20pools%20at%20low%20tide.%20%20Much%20was%20Lisa%u2019s%20surprise%20when%20she%20kicked%20this%20little%20porcelain%20hand%20holding%20a%20bowl%20of%20fruit%20in%20the%20sand%20as%20we%20walked%20along%20the%20beach.%20%20It%20is%20quite%20old%2C%20and%20the%20break%20is%20certainly%20not%20new%20looking%20at%20the%20dicolourisation%20of%20the%20white%20porcelain%20within.%20%20I%20think%20it%20may%20be%20from%20a%20Capodimonte%20statuette.%20%20The%20detailing%20in%20it%20is%20very%20well%20executed%2C%20and%20if%20you%20look%20closely%2C%20you%20will%20see%20that%20it%20even%20has%20fingernails.%20%20This%20is%20remarkable%20detailing%20for%20something%20that%20is%20only%20one%20and%20a%20half%20centimetres%20square%20in%20size%21%20%20You%20might%20also%20notice%20the%20gilding%20that%20still%20remains%20on%20the%20bowl.%20%20Lisa%20gave%20this%20little%20curio%20to%20me%2C%20as%20she%20thought%20I%20might%20find%20it%20useful%20as%20a%20prop.%20%20She%20was%20right.%20%20Whilst%20this%20is%20my%20first%20photo%20I%20have%20taken%20of%20it%2C%20I%20will%20use%20this%20little%20treasure%20from%20the%20sea%20again%2C%20and%20it%20will%20be%20a%20fond%20reminder%20of%20our%20evening%20walking%20along%20Brighton%20Beach%20looking%20for%20treasures%20amidst%20the%20rock%20pools.%0A%0AThis%20year%20the%20FFF+%20Group%20have%20decided%20to%20have%20a%20monthly%20challenge%20called%20%u201CSnap%20Happy%u201D.%20%20A%20different%20theme%2C%20or%20a%20selection%20of%20themes%20to%20choose%20from%20or%20combine%20is%20provided%20on%20the%205th%20of%20every%20month%2C%20and%20the%20image%20is%20to%20be%20posted%20on%20the%205th%20of%20the%20following%20month.%0A%0AThe%20themes%20for%20February%20are%20%u201Clost%20treasures%u201D%2C%20%u201Con%20a%20tabletop%u201D%20and%20%u201Cold%20gold%u201D.%0A%0AAs%20you%20have%20read%2C%20this%20is%20indeed%20a%20lost%20treasure%2C%20thrown%20up%20by%20the%20sea.%20%20It%20has%20some%20old%20gold%20paint%20on%20it%2C%20and%20I%20have%20placed%20it%20on%20the%20golden%20sand.%20%20Therefore%2C%20I%20think%20it%20is%20a%20suitable%20submission%20for%20this%20month%u2019s%20theme.%20%20I%20hope%20you%20think%20so%20too.
