via%0A%0AHappy%20news%21%20We%20are%20planning%20several%20new%20home%20projects%20this%20year%21%20I%u2019ve%20held%20off%20on%20updating%20a%20few%20key%20spaces%20in%20our%20home%20%28other%20than%20paint%20or%20minor%20changes%29%20because%20I%20knew%2C%20if%20we%20were%20going%20to%20stay%20in%20this%20house%2C%20that%20someday%20I%20was%20going%20to%20do%20%u201Csomething%20more%20than%20paint%u201D%20to%20make%20these%20rooms%20and%20spaces%20our%20own.%20I%20didn%u2019t%20know%20exactly%20what.%20Or%20when.%20%20I%20didn%u2019t%20want%20to%20rush%20it.%20So%20I%u2019ve%20just%20been%20patiently%20%28and%20sometimes%20not%20patiently%20LOL%21%29%20dreaming%20of%20ideas%20%u2026%20and%20considering%20the%20options%20for%20years%21%0A%0AThe%20good%20news%20is%2C%20I%20finally%20know%20%u201Cwhat%u201D%20I%20want%20to%20do%u2026%20and%20I%u2019m%20ready%20to%20share%20the%20inspiration%20and%20ideas%20with%20you%21%20I%20have%20a%20few%20small%20projects%20we%u2019ve%20almost%20completed%20in%20our%20lower%20level%20that%20I%20will%20be%20showing%20you%20soon%20%28plus%20our%20stairs%29%2C%20too.%20There%20is%20so%20much%20more%20to%20tell%20you%2C%20so%20many%20new%20ideas%20to%20share%20and%20backstories%20to%20explain%2C%20I%20hardly%20know%20where%20to%20begin%21%0A%0ASo%20let%u2019s%20just%20start%20with%20one%20simple%20update%20I%20want%20to%20make%2C%20and%20then%20we%20can%20go%20from%20there.%0A%0AI%20shared%20this%20idea%20on%20my%20Instagram%20stories%20recently.%20I%u2019m%20not%20sure%20where%20this%20photo%20%28above%29%20originated%2C%20so%20if%20you%20know%20please%20message%20me%20so%20I%20can%20credit%20it%20properly.%20It%u2019s%20my%20inspiration%20photo%20for%20our%20new%20master%20bedroom.%20Long%20story%20short%2C%20we%20want%20to%20move%20our%20master%20from%20its%20current%20location%20to%20the%20other%20side%20of%20the%20house%20%28the%20current%20location%20of%20our%20son%u2019s%20room%29%2C%20where%20we%20will%20be%20able%20to%20add%20French%20doors%20to%20our%20side%20patio%21%0A%0ARemember%20the%20saga%20of%20the%20side%20patio%20installation%3F%20Oh%20my%2C%20it%20was%20an%20ordeal%21%20It%20took%20me%20many%20years%20to%20recover%20from%20all%20the%20crazy%20stuff%20that%20happened%20just%20trying%20to%20get%20it%20done%2C%20hahahah%21%20%28Click%20here%20to%20catch%20up%20on%20the%20saga%20in%20this%20post%3A%20The%20Most%20Important%20Thing%20You%20Need%20Before%20Remodeling%29.%20Now%20I%u2019m%20excited%20because%20I%20have%20some%20ideas%20that%20will%20make%20it%20even%20more%20special.%0A%0AWe%20can%20access%20that%20patio%20space%20right%20now%20from%20the%20Dutch%20door%20in%20our%20kitchen%2C%20but%20if%20we%20move%20our%20bedroom%20we%20can%20add%20a%20set%20of%20French%20doors%2C%20like%20the%20image%20at%20the%20top%20of%20this%20post%21%20Then%20we%u2019ll%20be%20able%20to%20go%20right%20outside%20our%20room%20to%20relax%20on%20our%20own%20little%20patio.%20We%20could%20sit%20there%20with%20our%20morning%20coffee%2C%20or%20go%20out%20in%20the%20evening%20to%20have%20dinner%20or%20watch%20the%20sunset%20over%20the%20water.%0A%0AOf%20course%2C%20let%u2019s%20be%20honest%2C%20we%20can%20actually%20do%20these%20things%20now%2C%20but%20how%20much%20more%20special%20will%20it%20feel%20to%20have%20that%20space%20connected%20to%20our%20bedroom%3F%20That%u2019s%20one%20of%20the%20reasons%20I%20want%20to%20relocate%20our%20room.%20We%20don%u2019t%20have%20space%20for%20a%20big%20fancy%20master%20suite%20in%20our%20home%2C%20but%20I%20don%u2019t%20care%20about%20having%20a%20huge%20room.%20I%20just%20want%20our%20room%20to%20feel%20special.%20It%20will%20be%20little%2C%20but%20I%20think%20small%20rooms%20can%20be%20charming%21%20That%20will%20be%20my%20goal.%0A%0AWe%20won%u2019t%20be%20adding%20on%2C%20so%20we%20won%u2019t%20have%20a%20peaked%20roof%20like%20the%20inspiration%20photo.%20But%20we%20do%20have%20our%20round%20window%20nearby%2C%20so%20I%20think%20the%20general%20vibe%20would%20be%20quite%20similar%21%0A%0ATomorrow%20I%u2019ll%20share%20lots%20of%20inspiration%20photos%20for%20patio%20doors%21%0A%0AI%u2019ll%20explain%20more%20in%20future%20posts%20about%20the%20new%20bedroom%20and%20bathroom%2C%20plus%20a%20few%20ideas%20I%20have%20for%20the%20side%20patio%20to%20make%20it%20even%20more%20private%20and%20charming.%20I%20cannot%20wait%20to%20share%20all%20of%20the%20ideas%20I%20have%20for%20these%20spaces%2C%20as%20well%20the%20inspiration%20for%20our%20existing%20mint%20and%20pink%20bathroom%2C%20what%20we%20will%20do%20with%20the%20original%20master%2C%20and%20some%20really%20exciting%20updates%20I%20want%20to%20make%20to%20the%20character%20and%20function%20of%20our%20living%20room%20and%20more.%0A%0AThanks%20for%20following%20along%20with%20everything%20we%u2019ve%20done%20so%20far%20to%20make%20this%20home%20our%20own.%20It%u2019s%20going%20to%20be%20fun%20to%20watch%20this%20house%20take%20on%20even%20more%20personality%20and%20style.%20I%20can%u201
