Nowrooz%2C%20The%20New%20Hope%0A%0AToday%2020th%20of%20March%20is%20the%20start%20date%20of%20Persian%20new%20year%2C%20%20Nourooz%2C%20which%20begins%20on%20the%20spring%20equinox%2C%5B26%5D%20marking%20the%20first%20day%20of%20Farvardin%2C%20the%20first%20month%20of%20the%20Iranian%20solar%20calendar.%0A%0AAs%20winter%20leaves%20its%20white%20coat%20behind%20it%2C%20days%20are%20slowly%20getting%20longer%2C%20the%20air%20caresses%20the%20cheeks%20with%20a%20soft%20warmness%2C%20and%20green%20leaves%20dares%20to%20venture%20out%20of%20the%20soil.%20These%20are%20the%20signs%20that%20spring%20is%20coming%2C%20and%20with%20it%2C%20a%20whole%20new%20life%20is%20about%20to%20start.%20Here%20is%20the%20spirit%20of%20Nowrooz%20%28or%20Nouruz%29.%20%20Following%20the%20example%20of%20Mother%20Nature%2C%20people%20are%20invited%20to%20close%20the%20door%20on%20one%20chapter%20and%20turn%20the%20page%20to%20start%20a%20fresh%20new%20one.%20Regardless%20of%20the%20religions%2C%20beliefs%2C%20ethnicities%2C%20Nowruz%20offers%20to%20all%20the%20occasion%20for%20a%20change%2C%20a%20renewal%2C%20and%20most%20importantly%2C%20hope.%20%0A%0AAbout%20this%20image%3A%0A%0ADolphin%20is%20associated%20with%20both%20water%20and%20air%20elements%2C%20living%20in%20both%20realms%2C%20symbolizing%20both%20the%20emotional%20and%20intellectual%20traits.%20dolphin%20is%20a%20symbol%20of%20protection%20for%20its%20presence%20in%20stories%20about%20saving%20the%20drowning%20sailors%20or%20other%20humans%20in%20distress.%20%20Mermaid%2C%20on%20the%20other%20hand%2C%20usually%20embodies%20the%20destructive%20nature%20of%20the%20water%2C%20luring%20sailors%20to%20their%20deaths%20%2C%20serving%20as%20an%20omen%20for%20storms%2C%20unruly%20seas%20and%20disaster.%20%0A%0AThis%20image%20represents%20the%20confrontation%20of%20these%20two%20forces.%20I%20am%20not%20yet%20sure%20how%20their%20relationship%20is.%20Does%20the%20mermaid%20try%20to%20lure%20the%20dolphin%20with%20the%20fish%20as%20well%20those%20sailors%3F%20I%20hope%20not%2C%20because%20after%20all%2C%20%20dolphin%20is%20associated%20with%20intelligence.%20%20Or%20maybe%20they%20are%20negotiating%20over%20coming%20into%20peace.%0A%0AI%20hope%20that%20this%20destruction%20%28mermaid%29%20will%20end%20this%20year.%20To%20me%20this%20dolphin%20symbolizes%20the%20hope%21%20%0A%0AThe%20photo%20was%20taken%20in%20our%20small%20park%20next%20door%20in%20Gothenburg.%20%0A%0AI%20wish%20everyone%20everywhere%20a%20happy%20Nourooz%2C%201400%20of%20shamsi%20calendar%20the%20new%20century%21%20%0A%0A%3Ca%20href%3D%22https%3A//mehdipixel.com/2281-2/%22%20rel%3D%22noreferrer%20nofollow%22%3Emehdipixel.com/2281-2/%3C/a%3E
