Happy New Year to all my Flickr Friends - wishing you a safe, happy and prosperous New Year from the world Downunder. Hoping like mad that 2021 will be an improvement on 2020 - what a cruel blight on humanity that was - Stay safe - Peace. Our local fireworks have been cancelled this year, due to Covid of course, even though South Australia currently has just 7 active cases including 2 new cases today, 6 of these are in quarantine and one person is in hospital. Still it seems too dangerous for uncontrolled crowds to gather to watch fireworks. Sad but necessary I guess. To cut a long story short, yes, I've had to recycle an image from yesteryear, 2013, taken in a large local park near my home, during an era we now longingly refer to as 'normal.'
