This%20little%20guy%20has%20been%20eating%20out%20of%20my%20humming%20bird%20feeders.%20Have%20only%20seen%20one%20other%20type%20of%20bird%28besides%20hummers%29%20eat%20out%20of%20these%20feeders%20and%20this%20was%20the%20Oriole.%0AThis%20image%20was%20shot%20in%204/3%27s%20crop%20mode%20and%20then%20further%20cropped%20in%20post%20processing%2C%20all%20those%20MP%27s%20gives%20me%20lots%20of%20options.%0A%0AWhat%20I%20think%20of%20the%20R5%20so%20far%3A%0A%0A%20%20%20The%20R5%20is%20a%20somewhat%20controversial%20camera%20due%20to%20the%20overheating%20issues%20while%20filming%20in%204K%20and%208K%20video.%0AI%20think%20the%20whole%20issue%20is%20the%20way%20Canon%20marketed%20the%20camera%20initially.%20The%20camera%20is%20primarily%20a%20stills%20camera%20with%20the%20sometimes%20needed%20video%20functions.%20Limiting%20your%20video%27s%20to%20under%2030%20minutes.%0AI%20primarily%20shot%20stills%20and%20a%20few%20video%20clips%20that%20are%20always%20under%205%20minutes%20%28usually%20much%20less%29%20in%20length.%20So%20for%20me%20it%20is%20a%20NON-issue.%0AThe%20stills%20out-put%20is%20tremendous.%20I%20love%20the%20fact%20that%20the%20camera%20has%20built%20in%20crop%20modes%20that%20allows%20me%20to%20shoot%20in%20APS-c%20format%20and%20even%204/3%27s%20if%20I%20wish.%0AThis%20eliminates%20me%20carrying%20two%20camera%2C%20which%20I%20used%20to%20do.%20carrying%20a%205DIII%20and%20a%207D.%20One%20for%20landscapes%20and%20another%20for%20birds/wildlife.%0AThe%20focus%20system%20is%20the%20best%20there%20is%20right%20now%2C%20in%20love%20with%20it.%0AMuch%20better%20at%20low%20light%20compared%20to%20my%20old%20gear%2C%20even%20at%2045mp%27s.%0AThe%20body%20is%20smaller%20and%20lighter%20than%20my%20old%20cameras%20but%20this%20is%20not%20really%20something%20I%20was%20looking%20for.%20The%20body%20is%20just%20about%20as%20small%20as%20I%20would%20like%2C%20anymore%20and%20it%20would%20be%20two%20small%2C%20for%20me.%0AThe%20ergo%27s%20and%20menu%20system%20makes%20me%20feel%20right%20at%20home%20like%20my%20old%20gear.%20Only%20with%20many%20more%20options.%0AThe%20EVF%20is%20spectacular%20and%20have%20had%20no%20problems%20with%20it.%20I%20was%20worried%20about%20this%20because%20in%20the%20EVF%27s%20I%20have%20seen%20in%20other%20camera%27sI%20did%20not%20like%20and%20preferred%20the%20old%20optical%20viewfinders.%0ABattery%20live%20is%20less%20but%20is%20somewhat%20expected.%20So%20far%20I%20have%20not%20needed%20an%20extra%20battery%20but%20know%20I%20will%20need%20to%20in%20future%20shooting.%20The%20old%20The%20Old%20LP-6%20batteries%20also%20work%2C%20just%20last%20about%2020%25%20less%20than%20the%20new%20version.%20I%20am%20set%20up%20with%20a%20good%20amount%20of%20Both%20the%20new%20and%20old%20batteries.%0ASo%20I%20am%20just%20amazed%20by%20this%20camera%2C%20even%20though%20I%20had%20to%20wait%20much%20longer%20than%20I%20wanted%20to%20get%20it.%20I%20would%20defiantly%20buy%20it%20agin.%0AThe%20only%20negatives%20is%20see%20is%20the%20price%20and%20it%20takes%20about%20twice%20as%20long%20to%20do%20my%20downloads%20compared%20to%20the%205D/7D.%0AMy%20iMac%20is%20an%208%20core%20I7%20clocking%203.8%20GHz%20with%2016%20gig%27s%20of%20ram.%0AI%20have%20only%20shot%20a%20few%20video%20clips%20so%20far%20just%20for%20testing%20and%20will%20post%20a%20few%20clips%20in%20the%20future.%0AI%20only%20have%20the%20RF24-105%20L%20so%20far%20and%20is%20much%20better%20the%20the%20version%20one%20original%20ef%20lens.%0ANext%20lens%20to%20buy%20will%20be%20the%20RF100-500%20L%20and%20then%20the%20RF15-35%20L%20and%20that%20shoot%20suffice%20for%20a%20while.%0AReally%20looking%20forward%20to%20the%20next%20lens%20for%20doing%20bird%20photography.%0A%0AMerry%20Christmas%20and%20Happy%20New%20Year%20to%20you%20all.%0A
